Terms of Service

By accessing or using OpenMat, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Gym owners using OpenMat agree to provide accurate business information, maintain valid certifications where required, and comply with all applicable local regulations governing martial arts instruction and facility operation.

You may not use OpenMat to harass other users, upload content you don't have rights to, attempt to interfere with our infrastructure, or impersonate another person or business.

All fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.

Payments are processed via Stripe. During the MVP period OpenMat uses Stripe sandbox; production billing begins post-MVP and current gyms will be notified before any charges apply.

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or fail to pay outstanding invoices. Upon termination, you may export your data as CSV within 30 days; after that, soft-deleted records are purged on our standard retention cycle.

OpenMat is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenMat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and surfaced in-app for owners. The "last updated" date above reflects the current revision.
